A Vancouver photographer is calling on pet owners to be part of a new photo book she’s creating to raise funds for an animal organization.

Heather MacNeill, the owner of Rambling Hound Photography, is looking for animal lovers who have an extraordinary connection with their pet to be featured in a limited edition, hardcover photography book that will support the Citadel Canine Society in Vancouver.

MacNeill said the book, ANIMALITY: Connection, was inspired by the deep connections she has witnessed photographing animals over the past four years.

"Pet photography is 'a whole other animal'. Every picture tells a story, and every story frames our life,” MacNeill said.
