Big news for brickheads: A new Lego Store is coming to CF Richmond Centre soon.

With many retailers shutting their doors in response to the pandemic, the international toy company is heading in the opposite direction by opening a new location in Richmond.

According to CF Richmond Centre’s website, the shop aims to open its doors to the public in December.

Lego has more than 100 stores in North America, and this will be its 13th retail store in Canada.

In Metro Vancouver, Lego currently has a location operating in Surrey at Guildford Town Centre. Lego's Oakridge store in Vancouver, however, is closed due to mall demolition and redevelopment; the company's website adds: "Please be on the lookout for some exciting news in the near future!"
