Generally when we post local Kickstarter campaigns we'll share one at a time, but there are currently three really great Vancouver inventions being crowdfunded right now so today we opted for a roundup. The first invention is Lifepack.

Yesterday I wrote this post about Connor Meakin's new brand, Pure Bone Broth , that just launched out of Vancouver. In my haste I wrote that it's BC's only bone broth brand, but that's actually not the case, so I figured I should clear it up.

My friend Connor Meakin has been brewing up something great lately. Over the past six months he's been testing recipes and methods, and has perfected two bone broth recipes that he's now proudly selling in Vancouver.

Here's another great Kickstarter project out of Vancouver: YodelUp! It's a new product developed by two brothers who love snowboarding and music, and it allows you to control the music playing on your phone as well as acting as a walkie talkie.

I came across an interesting pilot project that Vancouver-based Binners' Project recently launched.

Over the last few months while researching for our upcoming BC WAS Awesome history book I've gained an even greater appreciation for British Columbia and all of its weird and wonderful stories than I had before.
