Stylish, dress-coded events keep popping up around Vancouver this summer. If you missed out on the last couple (Deighton Cup, Diner en Blanc) or are simply craving more, the Motionball Port & Starboard Sunday Brunch fundraiser for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation might just be the swank injection the doctor ordered.
On August 25, the Keg Yaletown will be transformed, Hamptons-style, by social-goers in their chic nautical best.
Motionball helps link volunteers and donors to the Special Olympics through integrated social and sporting events, and has donated more than $3,260,000 net since its inception in 2002.
Tickets to Port & Starboard are $60 and include two drink tickets, canapés, door prizes, games, entertainment and a ticket to the after party.
