I can’t help but fall for a great deal when it comes to shopping. What’s better than finding exactly what you want at half priced or finding something you never expected to buy for a bargain.

Drink responsibly OK, summer looks like it is here! I like going down to the beach and having a couple of beer, but it is illegal – as it is in most cities. The thing is, if we want to be this world class city, I think it is time to relax a bit.

It might be a smart decision not to toss this Friday's copy of the Courier into the recycling bin when you’re done with it as there’s a possibility, albeit somewhat remote, that it could be worth a bit of money some day as a special collector’s item

Writing a regular newspaper column isn’t a bad gig. On the downside, a persistent focus on the latest scam or scandal isn’t the cheeriest way to pick up a paycheque.
