Have you heard of the new speaker series presented by the Children's Festival in Vancouver? It's called PEP Talks and it's 3 nights of thought-provoking workshops on the issues we as parents (if you're still reading, I imagine you're a parent like I am) face today.
The series launched in November at the Vancouver Playhouse and there are two more nights happening - one coming up on February 5th and another on March 5th. The one in February features international bestselling author, Barbara Coloroso, and is called “How to Raise Ethical Children”. In this workshop, she shares tools for raising ethically minded children in the face of overwhelming societal messages and actions encouraging the opposite. You can find out more about it HERE.
So there are two wins here: you win as a parent gaining insight from these brilliant speakers and the Vancouver International Children’s Festival wins as all of the net proceeds go towards supporting their ongoing programs. Tickets (available HERE) are $70 for two speakers, $39 for one speaker, $22 per speaker Student price.
