One of the cool things about having a broad base of contributors and editors here at V.I.A. is that we're always learning more about each of them and their other projects that they're involved in beyond Vancouver Is Awesome.
Earlier this morning it was brought to my attention that our Bassment editor, Joel Levy, had been behind getting a fantastic music video produced for a local group, through his web site CanadianTalentFarm.com. He didn't just help get it produced, he basically built the machine with which a bunch of people rallied together to support one another and make a video that would probably have cost $6000, for a mere $600 price tag. The video is for The Autumn Portrait's song, Awake, they had 14 people on set over the 2 days and filmed at 8 locations. You can view it below.

Since Joel started CanadianTalentFarm.com in 2009, it has grown to become a good place for artists to do cross medium collaborations such as music videos and band photography. The three main objectives of it are:
1. To provide free publicity to talented Canadian artists in all disciplines.
2.Create a site where art lovers can go to visit and discover different artists in various forms of art.
3. Promote Canadian talent.
