A certain balaclava'd broadcaster blessed V.I.A. with a high-five yesterday at the Whistler Film Festival.
Dressed for snow (wethinks that scarf is either Armani or Prada, right?!), the Garbo-esque fellow played host for the festival's annual Filmmaker Tribute. Canadian auteur Bruce McDonald (at the festival with a whopping three films, including the much anticipated world premier of Hard Core Logo 2) and legendary cult director Monte Hellman (Road to Nowhere, ) were being fêted as part of an evening of conversation, clips, and a fascinating panel discussion that included Atom Egoyan.
