Despite the pandemic, life does go on, and this season's glorious blooming flowers across the province are no exception. So while it will look a little different for summer 2020, the Cultus Lake Flower Fest is underway, and beckons Metro Vancouver residents to its vibrant fields.
Opening on Monday, July 20 and running to Tuesday, September 1, the Cultus Lake Flower Fest takes place on the Wegenast family farm in picturesque Yarrow in the Fraser Valley.
This year, the fields are open from 4 p.m. to dusk, and they are packed with rows of sunflowers, dahlias, and wildflowers. The fields offer an opportunity to slow down and relax and take in the beauty of nature, as well as a great photo location - families, mothers-to-be, and sweethearts in particular. You might even want to pop the question in this idyllic setting.
Pricing for 2020 is just $5 admission, with kids under seven admitted at no charge. Purchase advance tickets online. There will be flower sales on site as well, so you can bring a beautiful souvenir home from your visit to the Cultus Lake Flower Fest.
