Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!).
My friends with whom I discuss photography will tell you that there are two things I am always on the lookout when I am doing photography at night: free light and free elevation. To me, they are the two most basic and beautiful gifts that the urban landscape can give the night photographer, because unless you have a scissor-lift and highway-construction-type lighting, they are very hard to replicate in the field. And with a photo like Passage to the Underworld as an example, I get the feeling that colink. is in on this idea as well.
Good work colink., spot on for my taste. It's got a retro-futuristic kind of appeal - if I was a location scout for film I'd make a note of this spot for sure.
