At the risk of having my Vancouver citizenship revoked, I haven't been up to the mountains to ski or snowboard this year. In fact, I didn't make it up last year either - although there were a few extenuating circumstances that were in play, namely the warm weather, the 2010 Olympics and all the visitors that they brought. I was up there for a wedding in September however, and what an epic wedding it was!
[Public Service Announcement: if you ever get invited to a wedding at Grouse in the summer, run - do not walk - it was such a stunning location for a wedding!]
So with this in mind, and also thinking of the lift pass to Grouse that is on my fridge waiting to be redeemed, I was impressed by a photograph by cykor1 from a trip to grouse mountain in February, during that wicked cold snap we had.
It really is the Top of Vancouver up there. Oh, and can somebody please call Dick Versace; it looks like it was a Six-Tanker Day.
