Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!)
A couple of Halloweens ago I found myself with the opportunity to try my hand at photographing a performer who was twirling fire. I had never tried that before, and found it a little trickier that I had anticipated. Oh sure, the learning curve wasn't quite as steep as say, learning to twirl ropes that are on fire, but there is a technique to it. Sadly, I didn't have quite enough time that night to work out the optimal shutter speed for the results I was looking for, but Billy Lam achieved a solid image recently documenting Ronald's ball test.
