When I saw this photo in our Daily Flickr Pickr pool today, I just knew I had to feature it. It's just an amazing photo taken down on The Pier in Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver by a very talented photographer, Clayton Perry. If you've never been to The Pier in North Van, you really should check it out. It's basically a 700ft long dry dock that's a remnant of the ship building heritage of the North Shore of Vancouver. It offers some of the most amazing and unique views of Downtown Vancouver, the North Shore mountains and Stanley Park. Grab your camera and go!

Back to this photo though, everything about it is perfect; the waning light, the symmetry, the colors, and the little cloud up in the sky. Beautiful! Very nice work Clayton.

Enjoy The Pier by Clayton Perry
