These whimsical sculptures in downtown Vancouver change colours when it rains

As part of the Canada Goose "Dry Anywhere" campaign, the installation will visit seven cities worldwide and is in downtown Vancouver right now.

Vancouver is famous for receiving an abundance of rainfall, but not everyone favours the decidedly damp climate. But if you are a pluviophile - a lover of rain - the Lower Mainland is a precipitation paradise.

In celebration of spring showers, this rain-activated art installation reveals vibrant, whimsical hues as it comes in contact with water.

The installation features raindrop-shaped sculptures which are coated with reactive paint and sit above ground on black poles. And, even if the skies are clear, the installation has an automatic water sprinkler system that ensures all visitors are able to view the transformation in all its alchemic glory.

As part of the Canada Goose "Dry Anywhere" campaign, the installation will visit seven cities worldwide throughout April including London, Milan, Beijing, Hong Kong, Paris and New York.

The installation is located outside CF Pacific Centre in downtown Vancouver; it runs until Thursday, April 25.
