If you're walking down Hastings St, just outside the Savoy Hotel is a large blue wall erected to protect an adjacent vacant lot. On it, beside the bike rack, you'll find a handwritten manifesto known as "Rave's Rules".
They look like this:
Simple and effective rules we should all adhere to. Not groundbreakingly revolutionary, but rather a reminder that we're all in this together so let's all play nice.
You can also find spots around the neighbourhood that reference the rules, and who knows? maybe this Rave guy is poised to develop a cult following in the Downtown Eastside.
I guess my next step is figuring out who he is.
