Granville Block Party returns to downtown Vancouver on August 23 and 24, 2025 for a weekend of food, entertainment and family-friendly fun.

Granville Street is getting the block party treatment again this summer.

Returning for its third year, the two-day festival will take over the heart of the Granville Entertainment District this August with music, dancing, vintage markets, food and drinks and family-friendly activities.

“Granville Block Party is a celebration of Granville Street’s resilience, creativity, and the businesses that keep it going,” says President and CEO of Downtown Van Jane Talbot in a press release.

From flavour-packed Mexican-style corn to fruity shaved iced, Granville Street will be brimming with food options. Red Truck Beer Company will be pouring drinks from two on-site bars, and The Little Margarita Wagon will be offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic Granville-themed drinks.

New this year are curated stage takeovers by Van Vogue Jam and Locals Lounge, and a dance stage featuring Harbour Dance Centre artists and swing dancing courtesy of Vancouver Civic Theatres.

Party-goers can expect lively performances by local artists including award-winning singer-songwriter Krystle Dos Santos, folk and roots artist Jack Garton, Persian pop band Bakara Band and Afro-soul, funk and R&B fusion trio Serengeti.

Beyond the music, visitors can browse the vintage and artisan markets, and take part in interactive booths hosted by local businesses. Families can stop by the Kids Zone for mini golf, arts and crafts workshops and more.
