The Globetrotters were scheduled to play GM Place this weekend but those pesky Canucks and their playoffs pantsed them with a scheduling conflict. The good news is that they're now playing 2 games out in Abbotsford instead of 1 so you can still see them play.

Here's the official word on how to exchange your tickets etc...

APRIL 17 EVENT SCHEDULE

Harlem Globetrotters event cancelled on April 17 due to scheduling conflict.

Canucks Sports & Entertainment announced today that the April 17, 2010, Harlem Globetrotters event at General Motors Place will be cancelled due to an NHL Playoff scheduling conflict. To accommodate fans wanting to see the Harlem Globetrotters, a special matinee game has been added nearby at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre for Saturday afternoon, April 17, at 3:00 p.m., with the original Abbotsford show still scheduled for Sunday, April 18, at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets for the Globetrotters show in Vancouver that were purchased on-line or by phone will automatically be credited to the purchaser by Ticketmaster within five business days. Tickets purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet will be refunded at point of purchase beginning Friday, April 16, 2010. Due to different ticketing systems, the Vancouver tickets cannot be honored in Abbotsford.

"We were happy that we were able to assist the Canucks for their playoff hockey game, and wish them luck during their run toward the Stanley Cup," said Bill Barrett, senior vice president of scheduling for the Globetrotters. "We hope all Globetrotter fans who wanted to see the team play in Vancouver come out on Saturday or Sunday to enjoy our show in nearby Abbotsford."

Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday games at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre are available by phone at 866-977-2372 or online at www.abbotsfordcentre.ca. Individual ticket information can also be found on the Harlem Globetrotters' official Web site: www.harlemglobetrotters.com, as well as info on group and scout tickets.

The Harlem Globetrotters will return to General Motors Place in Vancouver during their 2011 North American Tour, with a date announced later this fall.
