Did you catch THIS PIECE ON CKNW with my Disneyland tips for Vancouverites? I was on that recent trip when I captured this digital high five in the Chairman's Lounge of Staples Centre right after #33 and his LA Kings shut out the Islanders. He was kind enough to get me into the game and he and his wife, Megan, met me for a drink afterwards as Willie and I have these three things in common: we're both proudly BC born and raised, we're both passionate about salmon, and we both should've been captain of the Canucks at one point in our careers. Okay, okay, just the first two, but I've been practicing my streetball lately, and my hope is that you're going to see more of Willie on V.I.A. in the future. I know you might still be mad about the Kings bumping us out of the playoffs that time and then taking the Cup, and I know that whoever heads up their @LAKings Twitter account still really grinds your gears, but this dude here is 100% awesome. Oh, and of course he and Megan call Vancouver home in the off-season!
