Supra Distribution is a skateboard, clothing and shoe distribution company that was founded in 1999 by a skateboarder by the name of Peter Sullivan. They're presently the exclusive Canadian wholesale distributor of DVS Shoes, Lakai Footwear, Matix Clothing, Fenchurch Clothing and all of the Girl Skateboard Company brands including Chocolate and Fourstar. A pillar of the Canadian skateboard scene for the past ten years, they support a team of sponsored riders who are among some of Canada's finest. Without Supra the streets of our city, and our country for that matter, would have a lot less flair... or, I should say, Flare!
We caught up with Supra's general manager, Marco Feller, for a few questions...
If Supra is known for only one thing amongst it's customers, what would it be?
Our brands.
Aside from your own, what’s your favourite Vancouver business, and why?
The Canucks because having a Home team is great for the city.
Any plans to bring Girl Skateboards' Art Dump back for another art show like the Wooden OG one (LINK) at Antisocial a few years back?
I wish. Let’s talk to Girl and make it happen.
What keeps you here? Like what’s the best thing about Vancouver?
There is no one best thing about Vancouver. The city is made of all the elements of the perfect city; it’s clean, it’s metropolitan, great nightlife, great food, good people, and the scenery is the finest on our planet. Nature, Nature.
