Back for a second year, Lights by the Lake in picturesque Harrison Hot Springs will have you all aglow with holiday wonder as one kilometre of waterfront sparkles with festive lights.

This free family-friendly festival kicks off on Saturday, November 23, as the custom-built holiday light displays are switched on around Harrison Lake. The lights will be on daily from dusk until 11 p.m. through January 12, 2020, giving you plenty of opportunities to whisk away from Metro Vancouver to check out this engaging festival.

Stoll around the waterfront to see everything sparkle, stop by the plaza which will be decked out with Christmas trees and decorations, or go in pursuit of the elusive Sasquatch. The holiday displays focus on the local wildlife of Harrison and the mysterious Sasquatch - will you find him?

If you can make it out for opening night on Nov. 23, the fun happens from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with free hot chocolate, and the light switch on at 5:30 p.m.

Plus, this year the festival site features a new outdoor synthetic ice rink; admission to the rink is free, so BYO skates or bring some cash to rent skates.
