Fresh Air Cinema returns to the Lower Mainland this summer with its popular lineup of outdoor movies. However, guests will be viewing flicks from the comfort of their vehicles this year.

In order to comply with physical distancing regulations, the outdoor movie company has opted to host drive-in outdoor movies this year.

All events will be free or by donation, with 100% of the proceeds going toward local charities in each community. The suggested minimum donation amount is $30 per car.

On Friday, July 17, Fresh Air Cinema is bringing back movies to Semiahmoo Park once again with a showing of American Graffiti. Simply show up in your car, tune into their FM frequency and watch a movie under the stars.

The company will also host a showing of Dolittle on Friday at the Cloverdale Rodeo.

Following this, there will be a number of viewings throughout July and August in the Lower Mainland in Surrey, Richmond and North Vancouver. Movies will include La La Land, Aladdin, Back to the Future, Captain Marvel, Finding Nemo, Jaws, and more.

Organizers encourage you to purchase your tickets online in advance as they are limited to 50 cars per movie.

There is only one person at a time allowed in the washroom, and when queuing in line for the washroom, guests must line up a minimum of 6' (2m) apart.

There will be no food or drink for sale at the event. Please bring your own.
