In support of small businesses during COVID-19, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet near the Vancouver Airport is hosting its first-ever Made in Vancouver Market this weekend.

The outlet has invited local artisans including Karibu Handcrafted Body Products, Hooray Truffles, Sisters Sage and Seven Eye Designs to the outdoor market.

Shoppers can find products such handmade body care items, organic and vegan treats, hand-crafts and artwork.

“It’s important that we stick together as a community, and we want to provide a platform for local businesses as well,” said Robert Thurlow, general manager of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet.

“The Made in Vancouver Market provides just that (platform for businesse), while offering our guests a new and exciting experience in a spacious and safe setting, providing the recommended social distancing.”

Visitors can find the market at the Luxury Piazza, near Kate Spade and Ted Baker, on Aug. 7 and 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
