Remember CBC Hockey Night in Canada's Play On! from last year? That huge street hockey tournament that we entered and won? We won the coed division and you weren't there in the crowd cheering for us? For real? If you missed it last year you're in luck...
It's back! We'll, it's coming back. This year they're taking over Metropolis at Metrotown on June 5th and 6th, featuring more than 30 street hockey rinks in and around Metropolis Mall and Central Boulevard, with an estimated 400 teams, 2,500 players and 25,000 attendees over a weekend of play. Woah.
Here's a photo of our team from last year (champions, obviously), we're still finalizing the lineup right now but we'll be bringing you updates on their training leading up to the tournament.
