On this week's edition of our podcast we talk to Eve Lazarus, the author of the new book Murder by Milkshake.

It's "an astonishing true story of adultery, arsenic, and a charismatic killer"; a CKNW radio personality who murdered his wife in 1965. It's an incredibly detailed account of what happened leading up to, and well after, the murder took place. Eve shares her experience in writing it, as well as 6 other books centred in our city (including Cold Case Vancouver, which you should also read).

This week’s show is sponsored by Vancouver’s own Fresh Prep, and we’re giving 3 free meals to everybody who signs up using our coupon code! Save $33 on your first order when you use the code POD18. Sign up HERE.

In this episode we also discuss a new umbrella-sharing company, an old mural near city hall which recently disappeared, and more.
