Busy week with LOTS going on besides music... I went to the premier party for this hilarious new show, the Sad Mag - Vanimals party and the beach.
In between all of that I caught the awesome double CD release party for the Washboard Union and The Crackling at the Waldorf, and then some Mike Edel at the Railway on Sunday!
THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: FOLK FEST!!! Friday to Sunday, hope to see you there! Also this week, both the CBC Musical Nooners and the Voice of The Cellar (Cobra Ramone, Amusia, and Cruel Young Heart on Wednesday at the Cellar) continue! Imaginary Cities are back and performing at the Waldorf on Thursday with Rah Rah...it's going to be awesome. On Saturday post-Folk Fest, go check out the Patio Party happening at the Media Club ft. City of Glass and Conveyor, and a whole slew of DJ's! And finally on Monday the 16th it's the next Polaris Prize event at the Waldorf - Kathryn Calder will be in town for an interview and acoustic set - and I'm hosting! IT'S FREE!!! So come out!
