One incredibly busy and awesome week of music just happened...shall we have another?:
THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: begins at the Imperial tonight with Matt Mays bringing his tour to Vancouver! Wednesday is the opening night of The God That Comes starring Hawksley Workman (click here for the show schedule). On Friday as well, over at the Biltmore, Lindi Ortega is performing, with guest David Cuddy. Start Thursday off at the Portside Pub for the Schmusic BC party, and then head over to the Commodore for Pup, Hollerado, and The Zolas! Friday, have another double-header starting with some nostalgia-enducing tunes courtesy of Fred Penner, who is having a PJ party at the Biltmore, and follow it up with Aidan Knight, and Justin Rutledge at the Rio Theatre, or July Talk over at the Media Club. Saturday, this week's playlist creators, Paper Lions, will be performing at the Media Club, with guest Jordan Klassen. Take Sunday off and on Monday be sure to see Phildel, and Jasper Sloan Yip at the CBC. Have a great week!
