These 22 dinners across B.C. on one night this August all benefit a great cause

This year, on the evening of August 14, there will be 22 of these "dinner parties" with a cumulative 200+ seats across B.C., ranging from the Island to the Okanagan and including Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

Most of the participating venues have a small table available (four to eight seats), while a couple of stand-outs will have larger events, like a table for 20 on the top deck of a yacht in Vancouver to a 100-seat sold-out longtable dinner at Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse on Vancouver Island - the latter taking place on August 15.

Participating Metro Vancouver restaurants for 2019 are:

  • ARC at the Fairmont Waterfront
  • Bufala
  • Chambar
  • Fable Kitchen
  • Vij’s
  • Le Crocodile
  • Market at the Shangri-La hotel
  • Coquille Fine Seafood
  • Pacific Yacht Charters
  • Edible Canada
  • Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA)
  • The Vancouver Club
  • Hart House - Burnaby
  • Douce Diner - North Vancouver

In the Fraser Valley: Annora Restaurant, Trading Post Brewery, Township 7 Vineyards (with Well Seasoned)

In the Okanagan: Red Fox Club at Indigenous World Winery, Old Vines Restaurant at Quail’s Gate, Time Winery, RauDZ Regional Table (Kelowna)

At every participating location, diners will be treated to a specially-designed multiple-course menu, wines (or beer or cider) selected to complement that menu, a special table or location and an opportunity to meet and chat with the chefs and restaurateurs.

All Summerdine dinners are value-priced at $80 per person and include the multi-course meal with paired beverages (gratuity not included). The Vancouver Island event at Sea Cider is priced at $100 per person.

Summerdine is a fundraiser to benefit Les Dames’ Scholarship and Community Outreach programs. Earlier this year Les Dames awarded 29 scholarships totalling $60,000, while community beneficiaries include organizations such as Project Chef and Growing Chefs.

Tickets remain for some of the events, but they won't last long.
