The Vancouver Library is holding an unusual sleep over with stuffed animals at its Firehall branch.

Later this month a special group will get the chance to have a sleepover at a Vancouver library.

Well, "sleepover" may be a bit of stretch, technically speaking.

The city's Firehall Branch in Fairview is hosting a stuffed animal sleepover.

Children and their families can drop-off their fluffy feather- and foam-filled friends for a night at the library. They'll be registered with staff and then let loose.

"They'll make new friends and get a behind-the-scenes look at the library," reads the event page. "Don't worry, we'll take good care of them and you'll see photos of all the mischief and mayhem when you pick them up!"

Will the teddy bears have a picnic in the stacks? Could be!

Drop-off will be on March 19 at 3:45 p.m. at 1455 W 10th Ave. and pick-up will be on March 21, at 10 a.m.
