This is quite possibly the best ukulele in the city, if not the entire world. You might be able to get this thing from music stores or other places around Vancouver but I found this one at the pawn shop at Main and 14th-ish. Aloha heavy metal!

The PEAK Performance Project is a seven-year, 5.29 million dollar contest open to all musicians in British Columbia. The project was created by Vancouver's very own 100.5 The PEAK and Music BC to develop BC based emerging artists.

"Colin Moore is a designer, illustrator, graphic artist, painter, community builder, igloo builder, idea follow-through'er, indulger of 80's nostalgia and just generally a good human being. For a few years, he was my roommate.

I had the chance to chat with DC Shoes' Mike Blabac, skateboard photog extraordinaire, while he was in town for the King Of Vancouver contest in August.

The legendary Queen Latifah is playing the Commodore on November 1st and we're giving away 3 pairs of tickets to some lucky hip hop fans.
