First came the sushi place...then the izakayas...now it's ramen. Vancouver loves it's Japanese food.

Not being so much a regular to the hood, I look forward to coming out to Main Street. The size of the Main Street restaurants is something I like for starters. I checked out Latitude for this past Valentine's Day...nice feel, size and vibe wise.

Apparently today is World Water Day and, coincidentally, I wanted to share a link to Granville Magazine's article about Vancouver's drinking water being the purest in the world. For real? For real.

There are two distinct types of pizza in the city, there's places like Me-n-Ed's , and then there's the buck a slice category. I'm sure there is cheap pizza all over North America, but I think Vancouver has brought it up a notch...in some ways.

So as the Noodle Battle wages on between myself and Jef Choy , my latest is a shout out to this small ramen joint in Richmond: G-Men Ramen Shop in Richmond. Like Kintaro, its usually pretty busy and usually has a bit of a wait.
