Chances are you know them - and love them - from local seasonal venues like the PNE, Rogers Arena, or BC Place, but now CinCity Donuts has opened up their own standalone Vancouver shop.

Located at 327 East Broadway (in the space that was vacated in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic by the bubble tea and bakeshop Buns + Boba), CinCity Mini Donuts opened up for business at the very end of August.

CinCity is a franchise vendor that operates in stadiums and at special events across North America, and it is the same team behind Lemon Heaven, the lemonade vendors you'll often find at festivals, markets, and other seasonal events. Their corporate office and training facility is located here in Vancouver.

The brand, which launched in 2006, is known for its mini doughnuts (they use the "donuts" spelling!) that are fresh-made in front of customers and served up plain, dusted in cinnamon sugar, or in cups with special toppings - like maple syrup and bacon.

This spring, CinCity was among the participants in the PNE's first-ever drive-through food event, which was all about those mini donuts.

Though CinCity typically operates as a stand or from a cart, pulling customers in with that hot fried dough and sugar aroma, they also have set up some storefront locations, including this brand new one in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver.

For their East Broadway storefront, CinCity is not only serving up hot mini donuts by the dozen (or baker's dozen, as it often happens), but also has Lemon Heaven lemonades on the menu, as well as hot dogs, cotton candy, and coffee drinks. The shop is also offering delivery via third party carriers UberEats and DoorDash.

You can follow @cincityvancity on Instagram for updates about the Vancouver store.
