Earlier this year, Vancouver said so long to veteran BBQ spot Peckinpah at 2 Water St in Gastown after a 10-year run.
Country Roads, however, has already said its farewell to the Gastown space, and now another new concept is prepping to launch.
Called Röosh, the new restaurant will specialize in Swiss comfort fare - think "röoschtis" (a pan-fried potato dish) and fondue - but will focus on working with B.C. suppliers for its ingredients and beverage program. Röosh will also offer craft cocktails and B.C. beers and wines.
The new venture is currently in the hiring stage and is eyeing an early November opening. Follow @rooshonwater on Instagram for updates and info.
