After a fun-filled five-year run, Timber, the Canadiana-themed gastropub at Robson and Jervis, is turning off the lights.

The restaurant and bar, a sibling to fellow Listel Hotel operation Forage, will offer their last service on March 22.

However, the news isn't all dire. The space is set to flip into an as-yet revealed concept led by Timber and Forage head chef Welbert Choi, and General Manager F&B Front of House Margot Baloro, Restaurant Manager Jonathan Dennis, and  Assistant Manager Lenny Knight, which means the team is sticking in place.

Sadly, though, that means Deaner the Beaver, Terry the Canadian goose, and the charming Canadian pennants will be coming down. The coming days bring your last opportunities to enjoy Timber's signature dishes, like their bison burger, housemade ketchup chips, poutine, and fried cheese curds, along with their cocktails and craft brews.

We'll share more details about what will replace Timber when info is available.

Timber is located at 1300 Robson St in Vancouver
