Trish Juice, a juice, smoothie, and bubble tea chain based in the Toronto area is expanding into the Vancouver market.

The franchise operation is opening soon at 981 Hornby Street in downtown Vancouver.

The first Trish Juice bar was built in Oakville, Ontario, in the summer of 2017 when their founder, Rohit Kumar,  discovered an opportunity for an affordable yet healthy cafe where the food items are created fast like they would at a fast food restaurant.

The first location opened on Mother's day and Kumar named the business after his mom, Trish, as a token of love.

Trish Juice has since expanded to operate several stores in Ontario.

The bar puts an emphasis on looking natural by using wooden decor and displaying the fruits and vegetables for juicing.

On the menu are freshly-squeezed juices, smoothies, and smoothie bowls, as well as bubble teas, salads, and coffee and tea drinks.

Accounts for Trish Juice Vancouver have been launched on Facebook and Instagram, and a video shared early Friday morning show that the Vancouver store is nearing completion and "opening soon."

We've reached out to Trish Juice's head office for more details on their Vancouver venture.
