Uber Eats expands to 3 more Metro Vancouver communities

Uber Eats will add Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster to their delivery zones, and is bringing on multiple new partner restaurants to serve those communities.

If you live and/or work outside the city of Vancouver, you may have been experiencing a little food delivery FOMO since Uber Eats launched locally late last year. Now the service is expanding to include three more Metro Vancouver communities.

Uber Eats will add Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster to their delivery zones, and is bringing on multiple new partner restaurants, including popular bubble tea shop Chatime, to serve those communities.

Tuesday, June 12 is the start date for Uber Eats in Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster.

Uber Eats is a partner service to Uber, the ride-sharing service we still don't have in B.C. Drivers sign up to delivery via vehicle and bicycle, and users can track delivery via their mobile devices, as well as leave driver and partner restaurant feedback.

To get started, you’ll need to download the Uber Eats app, and then give it a whirl.
