After a pandemic pause in 2021, Vancouver's popular off-season food truck festival, Street Food City, is revving up once again in 2022.

Taking place from Jan. 15 through 23, the event, now in its tenth year, is part of the broad slate of fun programming for Dine Out Vancouver.

This year there are 13 local food trucks taking part, which means guests to the no-admission-fee event can enjoy fresh eats like Korean fried chicken, lobster rolls, and grilled cheese sandwiches galore all on the plaza (šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square) outside the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The trucks will rotate, so you'll find a different assortment of global fare and comfort eats onsite every day of the week-long event.

While you can definitely grab your food truck nosh to go, Street Food City will also boast a tented seating area with tables for an al fresco eating experience.

Street Food City 2022 features the following food trucks and carts:

• Chickpea
• Disco Cheetah
• Mama’s Fish & Chips
• Melt City Grilled Cheese
• Mom’s Grilled Cheese
• Mr. Arancino
• Old Country Pierogi
• REEL Mac and Cheese
• Salty’s Lobster Shack
• Shameless Buns
• Super Thai

It’s a great way to kick off the new year and for Vancouver to reignite its love for our local food trucks,"  says Lucas Pavan, Dine Out Vancouver Festival Manager, Destination Vancouver, in a media release.
