TORONTO — B.C. Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke, Montreal Alouettes linebacker Tyrice Beverette and the Saskatchewan Roughriders' offensive line all earned top marks in the CFL's first weekly honour roll.

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed all-star running back Ka'Deem Carey, the CFL club announced Monday. Carey was a CFL East all-star with Toronto last season after rushing for a team-high 1,060 yards with seven touchdowns.

TORONTO — Toronto Argonauts personnel will have two ways to commemorate the franchise's 2024 Grey Cup championship. Players, coaches and team staff received their custom-made championship rings Sunday.

VANCOUVER — Nathan Rourke reminded football fans why he's one of the CFL's top talents on Saturday. The 27-year-old Canadian quarterback threw for 324 yards with three touchdowns, and rushed for another 54 yards as his B.C.

CALGARY — Dedrick Mills scored one touchdown in the 2024 CFL season. He started 2025 with three in a single game for the Calgary Stampeders. The Stampeders downed the visiting Hamilton Tiger-Cats 38-26 in the season-opener for both clubs Saturday.

VANCOUVER — Snoop Dogg was a B.C. Lions fan on Saturday — if only for one night. The legendary rapper donned a Lions jersey with the number 20 and his name emblazoned on the back as he took the stage for a concert at B.C.

CALGARY — The road back to the CFL playoffs goes through Vernon Adams Jr. in Calgary. The Stampeders acquired the quarterback from the B.C. Lions a month after their worst season in two decades concluded in 2024.

MONTREAL — Davis Alexander is off to a winning start as the face of the Montreal Alouettes. Alexander threw for one touchdown and 205 yards in a steady outing as Montreal defeated the Toronto Argonauts 28-10 to open its CFL season Friday.

CALGARY — Doug Flutie expects to feel the itch Saturday.
