Man arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at Vancouver elementary school

The Vancouver Police Department says the man was drunk when he tried to enter the Vancouver elementary school on Friday, June 18.

When a drunk man’s attempt to enter a local elementary school was thwarted he resorted to a more long-range attack.

On the afternoon of Friday, June 18, the man walked to the front entrance of the school swearing aggressively according to a Vancouver Police Department release. When staff turned him away the man allegedly threw rocks at the school and damaged a window.

Police received multiple calls and located the suspect nearby. He was arrested for mischief, uttering threats, and public nuisance, and taken to jail.
