Tour de Concord: Several road closures in place in downtown Vancouver Thursday

The largest free family bike event is taking over False Creek.

The roads around Pacific will be closed from 2 until 10 p.m.

Vancouver’s biggest free family bike festival, Tour de Concord, takes place today (Thursday, June 30). 

Tour de Concord is taking place from 3:30 - 9 p.m. and features both professional and amateur community bike races on an 800-metre race course that takes up a portion of Pacific Ave. There will also be music, a beer garden, food trucks, charity events, and prizes. Complimentary bike valet parking is available on site for cycle event attendees.

It also means that there will be some road closures in effect between 2 and 10 p.m.

Pat Quinn Way (Between Expo Blvd. and Pacific Blvd.): 2-10 p.m.

Carrall St. (Between Expo Blvd. and Pacific Blvd.): 2-10 p.m.

Pacific Blvd (Between Cambie Bridge and Quebec St.): 2-10 p.m.

Cambie Street East Bridge exit to Pacific Blvd.: 2-10 p.m.

There will be restricted residents-only access from Nelson St heading East along Pacific Blvd to Griffiths Way

Where: Concord Pacific Place, False Creek next to Science World, 88 Pacific Boulevard
