What's described a spacious apartment in downtown Vancouver for $890 a month, comes with a pretty cosy (read: tight) sleeping arrangement.
A new Facebook Marketplace rental lists a den for rent that has a single bed wedged between a wall and a portable zip-up closet. There doesn't appear to be much floor space, though there is a space next to the closet at the foot of the bed so, if you're dexterous enough, you can get in and out. And there's a shelf and coat hooks above the bed for extra storage.
The pictures also indicate that there might be a curtain instead of a door.
"The room includes the bed and the closet, is not big but is comfortable," reads the listing. The apartment comes with a gym, backyard and common area with a pool table. The post also says it has "a hot" but we're not sure what that means. Tub? That would be nice.
The accomodation is shared with three roomies and the listing suggests that it's "perfect for international students."
The $890/month includes internet, laundry, gas and water, according to the post. That is, as long as you don't mind crawling into bed from the end.
