Pumpkin spice lattes (and all other pumpkin spice flavoured foods and drinks) are upon us. But do Vancouverites welcome this seasonal flavour?
When Starbucks brought back its fall menu in August, including the infamous latte, locals couldn't contain their excitement online.
As Vancouver gets ready for the onset of the fall flavour, many cafes are prepping to unveil pumpkin-themed treats and menus. Here's where pumpkin-lovers can enjoy an autumnal dessert.
When it comes to pumpkin spice itself, Vancouverites seem split on whether the flavour tastes better in food, drinks, or neither.
V.I.A. polled readers on this question and, as it turns out, only few locals like sipping on pumpkin spice -- nearly nine per cent, in fact. Just over 19 per cent of Vancouverites prefer nibbling on pumpkin spice flavoured foods and desserts.
Nearly five per cent of voters exclusively prefer pumpkin spice lattes.
While around 17 per cent of Vancouverites aren't picky and like all things pumpkin spice, the majority and nearly half of all votes doesn't like the flavour at all.
Looks like Vancouver simply doesn't like pumpkin spice (unless it's a treat).
