Hot, hot, hot: It is going to feel like 31°C in Vancouver tomorrow

The Metro Vancouver weather forecast calls for some decidedly toasty temperatures and only one day with precipitation this week.

Starting on Tuesday, July 14, Environment Canada calls for bright sunshine and a high of 20°C and 25°C inland. However, temperatures will feel more like 25°C with humidity; overnight temperatures are expected to dip down to 13°C. Following this, Wednesday is expected to be sunny and clear, with temperatures reaching 21°C and 28°C inland. With humidity, temperatures will feel more like sizzling 31°C.

Wednesday evening's forecast calls for a slightly milder low of 16°C, but Thursday's forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers all day long. Friday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 22°C.

The mix of sun and cloud is expected to continue through the weekend into Monday, with daily high temperatures ranging between 21°C and 23°C.

Environment Canada has revisited its three-month summer forecast to include September. Models show above average temperatures. Right now, the forecast shows the Lower Mainland should see temperatures between 0.5°C and 1°C above average through the season.
