Being a hockey fan in Vancouver isn't always easy, some accuse us of being band wagon jumpers, but personally, I've always just felt tortured. Which is why I'm somewhat taking the Giants elimination in this years WHL playoff in stride.
While many of us were watching the Canucks finishing off the Kings this year, for once the Giants were the sacrificial lamb of the hockey gods in Vancouver, and I guess they decided one of them had to lose.
Congratulations on another excellent season again Giants...winning the division plus three rounds of playoffs isn't too shabby.....now let's see if the city's other hockey team can do better....
