You can sail on a luxury cruise from Vancouver to San Diego at a steal

You sail on a five-star ship with all of your meals, entertainment, and accommodation included.
Holland America Line was the first cruise line to sail to Canada Place in 2022 and will sail back to California and visit San Francisco on the Koningsdam.

Update Oct. 17: This cruise has dropped in price to $1118.02 CAD for an interior stateroom for two people, which breaks down to $559.01 CAD per person including all taxes and fees.

If you're looking for a low-cost travel option this fall that won't break the bank, you might want to hop on board this well-priced cruise.

Holland America Line was the first cruise line to sail in Canada Place this year, bringing hundreds of passengers safely to their final port of call en route from San Diego.

Popular for its Alaskan cruises, Holland routinely sails out of Vancouver for seven- and 14-night journeys. But for those looking to dip their toes into cruising, or who simply want to soak up some California sun before cruising up the breathtaking Pacific Coast, there is an ultra-low-cost option departing in May.

The five-night Pacific Coastal cruise departs from Canada Place at 11 p.m. on Oct. 24 and stops in Victoria on Oct. 25. The cruise spends one day at sea before stopping in California in San Francisco on Oct. 27.

After spending one more day at sea, the cruise spends a final day at sea before disembarking in San Diego on Oct. 29.

Cruise from Vancouver to San Diego for less

The total cost of an interior stateroom for two people including all taxes and fees works out to $1,168 CAD including all taxes and fees (or $584.01 per person).

Not only does that cost include your transportation on a beautiful five-star vessel, but it also includes meals, entertainment, snacks, and lodging. The only thing it doesn’t factor in is alcohol and beverages, but you may opt to purchase a drink package that can reduce the cost of your spending.

Famous for its live entertainment, jazz and blues fans will enjoy inspired performances in the B.B. Kings Blues Club. Fans of traditional cruising will also enjoy dressing up on gala nights when guests sport their finest formal attire.

In addition to the main dining room, there is also a casual option on the Lido Deck and a couple of fine dining options: the Pinnacle Grill and the Canaletto Restaurant. For burgers or hot dogs at lunch, the Dive-In offers mouthwatering eats for hungry cruisers until 6 p.m.

Guests may also order food into their rooms at any time of the day.
