Posing in front of Douglas Coupland's Digital Orca sculpture next to the Vancouver Convention Centre in the photo below, he looks just like the damned thing but ten times fuzzier.

Look at those little fins!

Katie tells us his name is Baxter and he's 8 years old. He's part Havenese, part Poodle.

She and her husband were in town from Portland over the long weekend, and one of the things they wanted to see was this piece of public art located in Jack Poole Plaza.

"When we got close, we knew we had to at least try to make Baxter do the same pose!"

But how? How on earth do you get a dog to pose exactly like the Digital Orca?

"He gets excited pretty easily and likes to stand on his hind legs, so my husband just pretended to hold a treat above him to get him to jump!"

This photo was captured on their third attempt.
