That's never been a better reason to stay home, and the weather forecast looks dismal, too.

As the province advises people to stay home in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, mother nature gears up for a damp, dreary week.

That's never been a better reason to stay home, and now the Vancouver forecast is calling for a chance of rainfall everyday over the next week, too.

Starting on Tuesday, March 24, Environment Canada calls for a 70 per cent chance of showers during the day. What's more, the rain will be heavy at times. The evening is expected to be cloudy with a low of 2°C.

On Wednesday, the forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 10°C. The evening is expected to be clear with a low of 2°C. Thursday's forecast also calls for a chance of showers during the day followed by periods of rain at night.

On Friday, the forecast calls for periods of rain all day. Following this, the forecast calls for rain on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
