Vancouver comedian argues in favour of Vancouver's "wet cold" theory

Yeah but it's a wet cold

Charlie Demers argues about the difference between a dry cold and a wet cold. Screengrab

Vancouver comedian and author Charlie Demers has an opinion about the cold in Vancouver versus other... well... actually cold parts of the country.

While spending time in Winnipeg, where it was -22 degrees celsius, he filmed the clip below and shared it to Instagram.

Our editorial cartoonist Geoff Coates went viral recently for his take on how the rest of Canada views Vancouver winters, and Charlie notes that when we say there's a difference between a wet cold and a dry (Manitoba) cold, "We're not lying to people."

"Wet cold is different."

Enjoy the clip.
