411 centre celebrates new home

411 Seniors Centre Society celebrates its new home with an open house June 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The seniors centre had been located at 411 Dunsmuir St., but last year the building was sold for $8 million.

The Westside U-14 boys basketball team went undefeated at the B.C. zone championship May 25 to 27 at the Langley Events Centre to win the provincial title. In the championship final, the Westside boys beat Richmond 63-51.
