The Blim Community Market is coming up this Sunday, taking place at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Chinatown! This monthly market supports and encourages the local creative community and this time around will include food, fashion, accessories, supplies, fine art, vintage items and records, and not be limited to crafts. The market appeals to young, old, hip, plain, babies, animals, men, women, everyone.
We decided to profile one of the vendors to give you a small taste of what you're in for. Meet Gypsy Wolf clothing...
Gypsy Wolf explores textile arts through the process of dyeing, printing and inking, processes that make each item unique. Each Gypsy Wolf accessory grows as it is made. This sets Gypsy Wolf products apart. Raw fibres, yarn, leather work, chain, delicate beading, hand embroidery, opulent inks, draped rayon, warm wools, tactile leathers and cool metals go into creating the Gypsy Wolf’s lavish elegance and grace.
Gypsy Wolf designs and makes each item by hand. These include, but are not limited to, shawls and scarves, purses and totes, wallets and satchels, pouches and sleeves, travel bags and back packs, necklaces and earrings, bracelets and broaches.
