Today's photo was shot by ng.kelven and it's more about the story of about 400 people becoming accountants which I would never have heard if not for our Flickr pool. Here's the caption:
No, I wasn't headed to a bar but yesterday was my official convocation for being entered into the Institute of Chartered Accountants. It has been a long road to get there. 2 years of grad school in between full time work, an entire summer of studying 8am-5pm, 5 days a week, and then a grueling 3 day examination - not to mention the 2 month wait for results. In the end, the result was great and I think I will always remember the crazy excitement of seeing the words, "competency achieved" on the results page!
Over 400 of us in British Columbia yesterday went through this and boy did it take along time to get through... It was fun though, seeing good friends, having a great meal, taking pictures. I will share some in a bit.. for now, it is time to sleep in again.
